Young people have the power to create meaningful change and sometimes, all they need is the opportunity to get started.
Through the Walking Softer Education Program, high school students explore sustainability, identify environmental challenges in their own communities, and turn their ideas into real-world action. With support from educators, students have the opportunity to move beyond the classroom and see firsthand that their choices, creativity, and leadership can make a difference.
Whether it’s reducing waste, restoring local ecosystems, conserving resources, or finding an entirely new solution, every project begins with a simple question: What can we do to make our community better?
Walking Softer Education provides educators with the resources and support to help students answer that question while turning their ideas into real-world solutions.
